Care
  • What materials are used in Caroline de Benoist jewelry?

All Caroline de Benoist jewelry is made of 24-carat gold-plated brass, enameled and set by hand.

  • How can you preserve your Caroline de Benoist jewelry for as long as possible?

To preserve your jewels for as long as possible, store them separately in a fabric pouch (like the one you receive with each Caroline de Benoist piece).

Gold-plated brass jewellery can oxidise over time if exposed to light.
Prevent your jewellery coming into contact with water and humidity.

Perfume, alcohol, hand sanitizer, salt water, lemon, chlorine and other chemicals are also harmful to your jewellery.

Make sure you apply perfume and make-up beforehand, remove your rings before washing your hands or using hand sanitizer.

We also recommend placing your Caroline de Benoist jewellery in an individual fabric pouch before going to bed or exercising.

  • How do I care for my textile article?

Caroline de Benoist tablecloths, napkins and placemats are made using the traditional Indian block print technique. To preserve the brilliance of their colors over time, do not exceed a 30° machine wash (program: hand wash or delicate laundry) and do not use a tumble dryer.

The same applies to our blouses, pyjamas and other textiles.

How do I care for my ceramic item?
Ceramic crockery is dishwasher-safe, although it is preferable to wash it by hand with a soft sponge to protect it for as long as possible.

The crockery is microwave-safe and can contain hot dishes.
